- Network Information: Used solely to discover and connect to Smart TVs on your local Wi-Fi network. This data never leaves your device.
- Infrared (IR): Used to send signals to traditional TVs via your phone's IR blaster. No data is stored or transmitted externally.
- PIP Mode: Used to display the remote interface over other applications for your convenience.
2. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services (such as Google AdMob) to display advertisements. These services may collect information (such as Advertising IDs) used to identify your device for advertising purposes. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers.
3. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions only when necessary for its core functionality:
- INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for Smart TV communication and ad loading.
- TRANSMIT_IR: Required for traditional IR remote functionality.
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Used to enable Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode.
4. Data Security
We do not collect or store personal data such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Any settings you configure (such as saved TVs) are stored locally on your device's secure storage.
